Why we chose The Outdoor Society:

We shortlisted a handful of landscapers to do our home and Outdoor Society stood out from the rest for a number of reasons:

1)  From the start, Outdoor Society were quick to quote and provided the most detail on their assumptions and cost drivers. I review commercial proposals/tenders for a living and there is nothing more risky than accepting a poorly broken down quote without assumptions for complex projects.

2)  I got to speak directly with the owner, Adam, who is also doing the landscaping work with his team on site. This means that there is less project management overhead.

3)  Adam manages his own workers who do almost all of the work and only subcontracts for specialised skills. This gave me confidence that Outdoor Society can better control timelines and quality.

4)  I was very happy with my designs and couldn’t recommend Alex (Outdoor Society’s Landscape Architect) enough. He always found solutions to design challenges and was able to articulate complex designs very well. Having my designer working with my landscape builder reduces the risk of the project so this is another bonus I considered.
